How to Perform a “Cashout”

Cashout is a service that needs to be enabled by the Smartpay team. Once enabled, we will supply you with a password. Please note, this must be done between 9 AM – 5 PM AEST, and you must have the machine with you to get this set up. Call us at 1800 433 876 to have Cashout enabled.

To perform a Cashout, follow these steps:

  • Press the “Trans” button and then “Cashout” 
  • Enter the purchase amount and cash amount.
  • Your customer will be prompted to present a card. Please note, the surcharge will be added automatically. 
  • The customer will need to select their account and then type in their PIN.
