Once your Smartpay terminal is powered on and connected to the internet (read here for how to connect to your 4G Modem or your business Wi-Fi), you’re ready to place your first transaction.
Simply type in the amount you wish to charge, then press enter. Your customer will be prompted to complete the transaction with their payment method of choice (tapping/swiping/inserting a card or contactless payment device), and charged your sale amount plus the automatically calculated surcharge amount (displaying as one total price owed).
Other transaction types like cash out and refunds can be accessed from the “trans” menu by clicking on the screen, or pressing the leftmost blue button.
