Creationg a Discount
Log into Ziipos with a Supervisor code or higher.
Select the three lines in the bottom left corner to access the side menu.
From the side menu select the Settings.
Now select the Three lines from the left hand side of the Profile page and scroll to the bottom of the three line menu.
From the settings side menu select Discount.
If not already switched on, click on the slider beside Discount Rate Setup to switch on the discounts.
Select the New button on the right hand side.
Add a unique code for the discount being created.
Next make a name for the Discount.
Choose the type of discount that is being created.
- Order Discount Rate – A percentage rate that discounts the full order.
- Order Dollar Discount – A discount that takes a certain amount off the Order.
- Item Discount Rate – A percentage rate that discounts an item only.
Now enter the amount or rate of the discount. The icon on the left side of the text box will show if this is an amount ( $ ) or percentage ( % )
Ensure Active is on.
Click on Save to save the discount setup.
Select OK to confirm saving the Discount.
Modifying a Discount
To modify a discount, select the discount to change.
Next change the Name, Type of Discount, Rate and whether the discount is active.
Note: The code cannot be changed.
Click on Save to save the changes made.
Select OK to confirm the Save.
If the discount is no longer needed, click Delete to permanently remove it.
Select OK to confirm deletion of the discount.
Once all the changes have been made, use the back arrow to go back to the till screen.
