Say you’re a cafe business and your customer wants to pay for a salad and a glass of wine with Eftpos. Once you’ve entered the amount of the meal ($29.00), our terminal will automatically calculate an appropriate surcharge ($0.48) and add it to the total payment amount ($29.48).
$29.00 (meal) + $0.48c (surcharge) = $29.48 (the total your customer pays)
The surcharge covers the cost of your EFTPOS fees. Plus if you process more than $10,000 in credit cards that month on that terminal, there’s no need to pay for that terminal either.
