If you have a base charge station for your Smartpay terminal, base ethernet is an option.
Connect the base station to power, and plug the Ethernet cable into the LAN Port. Then follow these steps:
> MENU
> 7. MISCELLANEOUS
> 7. COMMS SETTINGS
> 6. CHANGE COMMS TYPE
> 3. BASE ETHERNET
Your terminal will restart and prompt to scan for base station. You may need to unplug power from the base station and plug it back in to restart it. Base station name will be B210 + S/N Number from back of base station if there is more than 1 option. Your terminal will ask you to confirm to connect to the base station – press YES to confirm.
