Congratulations on the win! Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your business?

I’m Tamika, the owner of Skin & Beauty Collective in Clarkson, WA. We’re a premium skin clinic specialising in results-driven treatments like skin needling, advanced facials, and brow/lash enhancements. Our focus is on helping clients feel confident in their skin through a holistic approach and we’ve grown from a single rented room to a six-room dream space in just under two years.

How did you join Smartpay?

We stumbled across SmartPay at the beauty expo last year as we were moving into our first salon space, we needed a reliable EFTPOS system that didn’t sting us with fees every month and the setup was so easy it felt like a no-brainer.

What made you recommend Smartpay and make the referral?

As a business owner, low fees and fast settlement matter, but so does great customer service. Smartpay has been smooth from day one, and I found myself naturally telling other business owners about it. If something works and saves you money, why wouldn’t you share it?


How does it feel to be the lucky winner? Any ideas on how you might spend the $2,000?

Honestly, I didn’t even realise I was in the draw. Now I’m just super grateful it’s not often you get paid for simply running your business and telling people about something you genuinely use and love.

I’ll be putting it towards some new salon upgrades we’ve been eyeing off and treating my team this weekend in Sydney. It’s nice when a win for the business can be a win for everyone!

Congratulations on the win! Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your business?

My name is Maria Gavales. I own and run Hillbillies Pubs and Grubs, a small takeaway shop which has been operating for the last 15 years in the industrial area of Palmerston.

How did you join Smartpay?

I came across Smartpay when I went out for breakfast one morning, and the cafe was using Smartpay, so I did some Googling to look and made my inquiry. After using it for a couple of weeks and saving my business hundreds of dollars a month in bank fees, I started to tell businesses around me about Smartpay.

What made you recommend Smartpay and make the referral?

I was so happy with not only how fast the machine came but also how easy it was to set up and use. There must be at least eight businesses I have referred that have switched to Smartpay. Every business that has switched to Smartpay around me asks me for help; sometimes, I've even gone and helped them with the setup.


How does it feel to be the lucky winner? Any ideas on how you might spend the $2,000?

I'm super excited to have gotten the phone call today to let me know that I am one of your winners. I will definitely spend my prize money spoiling myself.

Congratulations on the win! Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your business?

Len Mutton & Co was established by my great grandparents in 1913 as a successful general store. I took over 27 years ago for “a year or two” and have never left! Len Mutton & Co is a must visit for tourists and locals alike. We specialise in quality ladies fashion & accessories as well as Gifts, Homewares, Children’s toys, books , kitchenware & so much more!

In our 112th year of business I can honestly say my time as custodian of this wonderful building and business has been a privilege. I love my work and of course all my customers!

How did you join Smartpay?

I joined Smartpay after seeing an ad on Social Media. I was unhappy with my provider as I didn’t feel I was getting a great deal … and despite trying to negotiate a better deal still felt it wasn’t a competitive offer. I shopped around and did lots of research before determining that Smartpay was probably my best option. I arranged a call and was lucky enough to speak with Liam at Smartpay who answered all my questions, wasn’t pushy and really helped me realise the best possible outcome for Len Mutton & Co.

It was Liam’s professional manner and attention to detail that instilled the confidence in me to change providers… a decision I have never regretted! I have been so happy with Smartpay and they are saving me significant $$$ every month.
