We live in a connected world, but sometimes technology fails. We’ve made sure that even one network is down, you can always switch on your terminal to another network. Making sure you can always take payments, so even when technology is down, business isn’t. 

To change how your terminal connects to the internet following the instructions below. 

From the EFTPOS idle screen:

1. Press the MENU button
2. Select (7) – MISCELLANEOUS
3. Select (7) – COMMS SETTINGS
4. Select (6) – CHANGE COMMS TYPE
5. Select (2) – GPRS (3g)

Your d210e EFTPOS terminal will restart and connect to Telstra’s 3g network to process transactions.

Connecting your chosen WIFI network:

From the EFTPOS idle screen:

1. Press the MENU button
2. Select (7) – MISCELLANEOUS
3. Select (7) – COMMS SETTINGS
4. Select (6) – CHANGE COMMS TYPE
5. Select (1) – WIFI
6. Your d210e EFTPOS will restart and a ‘WIFI NETWORKING‘ prompt will display on the screen.
7. Select ‘SCAN
8. Locate your chosen WIFI network using the arrow keys on the terminal keypad, Select ENTER on the terminal keypad.
9. Enter the Password for your chosen WIFI network.

Your d210e EFTPOS terminal will restart and connect to your chosen WIFI network to process transactions.

Connecting via Bluetooth (Base Ethernet)

1. Ensure your b210 base station unit has the power adaptor connected and an active ethernet cable is connected to the LAN port.
2. Place your d210e EFTPOS terminal onto your b210 comms base station.
3. Press the MENU button
4. Select (7) – MISCELLANEOUS
5. Select (7) – COMMS SETTINGS
6. Select (6) – CHANGE COMMS TYPE
7. Select (3) – BASE ETHERNET
8. Select ‘QUICK
9. Press ‘ENTER‘ on the EFTPOS terminal keypad
10. Connect to ‘B210_XXXX’, the ‘XXXX’ corresponds to your eight-digit b210 serial number found underneath the unit on the barcode. Then press the ‘ENTER’ button on the keypad.

Your d210e EFTPOS terminal will restart and connect to your chosen Ethernet network to process transactions.
